Dr. Hans Tokke, Ph.D. is multi-faceted college professor, educator, and professional management consultant that brings to the Thrive Collective team a deep understanding of story-telling through the lens of the participants, using professional expertise in sociology, culture, marketing, strategic planning, justice theology, and applied research. As an ordained minister along with significant experience with educational, non-profit, and para-church organizations he understands the issues that these types of organizations and the individuals face in the world of change. His experience in curriculum development and student assessment is a core contribution to the team.

With over 25 years of experience in various leadership and directorship roles in the educational, non-profit, philanthropic, and business sectors that have required strong creative and artistic skills he adds collaborative depth to the idea pool in organizations doing work in social justice and education. His work has included student assessment, curriculum development, urban missions, producer, composer, writer, and creative architect on various projects including a touring fundraising dinner theater, corporate image brand and redesign team leader, national high school pro athlete media and music tours, philanthropic events and college marketing teams.

He holds a PhD and MA in urban sociology from The New School for Social Research in New York City, one of the leading social research schools in the world, an MDiv. in urban ministry and M.P.S. in community development from Nyack College/Alliance Theological Seminary and a BTh. from Summit Pacific College. Professional memberships include American Sociological Association, Association for the Sociology of Religion, Academy of Management, The Christian and Missionary Alliance, and the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
