Thrive Collective and Projectivity have proudly supported the Boone Avenue Walls mural festival in the Bronx for the last three years. Founded by pioneering New York artist Wen Cod, the annual event brings together a who’s who of iconic graffiti writers and street artists since 2014. This year, more than 200 artists expanded the festival to four distinct Bronx neighborhoods: Mott Haven, Hunts Point, Foxhurst, and West Farms.
In Hunts Point, Jodi Dareal and Christian Penn collaborated on the “Don’t Forget 2 Smile” mural; DJ Xcel kept the music pumping; and Kel and Yvette Hidalgo engaged children and families with a graff wall.
