PS 44 CLASSROOM
Projectivity and Thrive Collective proudly present R.H.Y.M.E. at PS 44 Staten Island.
Over the course of a semester-long project-based learning experience, students at PS 44 explored songwriting, hip-hop art and culture, audio recording, and the powerful connection between mic skills and life skills—including communication, collaboration, creativity, confidence, and community. “Classroom” is an original song written by 3rd–5th grade students at PS 44 Thomas C. Brown School, with guidance from R.H.Y.M.E. Teaching Artists Jodi Dreal Rogers and Eddy Scott Infante. Special thanks to Principal Nancy Storms, Annette Bellman, and Brandon “Nu” Bustamante for their support and partnership in making this project possible. Stay tuned—R.H.Y.M.E. is coming soon to a school near you! Music video by Eddy Scott Infante. Cover art by Jodi Dareal Rogers.
