”In Unity There is Strength,” is the theme and title of this mural. The participants of this project were 9th and 10th Graders of Queens Preparatory Academy. At the beginning of the project the younger students struggled opening up but eventually broke out of their shells with the help of the older students who previously worked with us last year. The students chosen for this project were participants of QPA’s art club and they had a lot of material that they created, including the girls listening to music, the MTA train representing the different cultures within the school, and the fonts.
