Bring Art Back is about justice. Imagine your world with no visual or performing arts, no music or film, no expression at all. 419 public schools in NYC’s poorest neighborhoods lack art teachers of any kind. Help us Bring Art Back to all of our students.
“Reductions in arts education have fallen disproportionately on the City’s lower income neighborhoods.”
-Scott Stringer, NYC Comptroller
Our programs connect artists and youth workers with local schools as teaching artists, art directors, and mentors. Project based learning and accredited curriculum integrate life and art skills in four kinds of experiences: in-school electives, after school clubs, seasonal intensives, and weekend warriors. We are a licensed DOE, DYCD, and DCA vendor.
