Thrive Collective’s founding community liaison Pastor Rick Del Rio shares his experience as a first responder to Ground Zero on 9/11, and the sacrifice he continues to make for his bravery. The seeds that grew into Thrive Collective were planted in the rubble at Ground Zero, and cultivated in the response that followed.

Video produced for the twentieth anniversary of 9/11 by Chosen People Ministries, while Pastor’s Rick’s 9/11 related cancer was briefly in remission. The cancer recurred in 2022, and he has spent the week of the 25th anniversary at the hospital fighting complications from treatment. We love and appreciate you Pastor Rick.
