PS 44: We Are Eagles

For the fifth year in a row, Projectivity was awarded the CASA grant by the local City Council Member Kamillah Hanks to complete afterschool art programming culminating in the “We Are Eagles” mural in the courtyard at PS 44.  Artist Jodi Dareal worked with 4th and 5th grade students to highlight the kinds of events within the school that help students find purpose in their goals, use their imaginations, and take pride in working with others to finish a common goal.
