read moreJeremy R. Del Rio, Esq., co-founded and leads Thrive Collective, a nonprofit that creates hope and opportunity through arts and mentoring in and around public schools. Recognized as one of NYC’s largest arts education non-profits and artist incubators, Thrive has raised and invested nearly $13 million in more than 200 artists serving 40,000 students at more than 300 public schools since 2014. As of 2025, they have produced more than 750 murals in excess of 280,000 square feet of public art, and have expanded to California, Maryland, Puerto Rico, Texas, Washington DC, and beyond.
Jeremy has also taught as an adjunct professor since 2004, and connects, trains, and mentors youth workers nationally. He has consulted businesses and nonprofits on leadership and strategy since 2000; and has co-founded or led a dozen youth and community development initiatives since 1994. He worked as as a corporate attorney in New York before resigning after 9/11 to lead relief work at Ground Zero. He has contributed to six books, and his articles have appeared in dozens of publications. He lives with his family in Brooklyn, and his two sons are proud NYC public school students and graduates.
