“I Am Legendary” expands on the school mantra of “Be Legendary” as well as on “Legends,” the name of the school’s sports team. The lunchroom mural, directed by Bronx legend and artist innovator Crash, explores the school’s core values, captured with the acronym SWAG: Scholarly Thinking, Working Productively, Awareness of our Diverse Community, and Growth Mindset. This project is a collaboration with students from BronxConnect’s Youth Empowerment Network at the school.
