Thrive Collective returned to John Dewey High School for the 2023-2024 school year to inaugurate its Project Pivot program with an integrated arts academy. Collaborating once again with our partners Projectivity and Speek Lyfe, we produced a 36-week, multimedia experience in three 12-week modules:
- Podcasting students produced “What We Dewin’,” a fifteen episode podcast available on Youtube and Spotify.
- RHYME students produced “Push Through, Follow through,” an original hip hop song and music video available on Youtube and Bandcamp.
- Murals students produced “The John Dewey Student Is…” mural in the main entrance hallway.
