Artist Marissa Molina contributes two new school murals to the growing collection at PS 86Q in Jamaica, Queens.

“Serenity” adorns the entrance to the school on a collection two moderate and four small columns. Collectively, the designs create a peaceful and inspiring setting. They feature lush nature, butterflies, and a parrot flying through the space, along with diverse student groups playing and curiously engaging their surroundings.

“Student Medicine” playfully interprets what might sometimes be a scary place for students, the nurse’s office. Student doctors practice medicine with common healthcare instruments.
